We drove from Albuquerque to Santa Fe this morning. It was sprinkling in Albuquerque, but past La Bajada, it was a wall of blizzardy snow. I barely made it to work, and they had to come pick me up at the supermarket in Eldorado. At least I got a soy chai out of it.

Santa Fe got eight inches over the course of a morning. Crazy stuff. But the thing I love about New Mexico is that it’ll snow like crazy, then the sun will come out and the sky is a brilliant blue. Seriously, in this picture it just stopped snowing before I took it.
