So I was supposed to leave for New Mexico today. However, an academic sort who is fairly known in my field was coming in from Georgia. I wanted to meet him, so I rescheduled my flight for the 18th. My husband did leave today.

I guess it was a good thing, because my stove started melting itself from the inside out. It reeked fiercely. The landlord came over and turned off the gas. I never much cared for it, so I am glad that I get a new one.
