I designed some wedding invites for a friend. This is the rough version. I made a bunch of colors of the invite itself, and then a bunch of the bands, so the bride could create different combinations, and see which one she liked best. In the end, I wanted to do a lot of different colors, and not have all the invites look the same—they ended up looking so awesome together. She choose the color scheme in the middle—chocolate brown and cherry red. It was the one I initially liked—but with a more subdued red, and a charcoal-brown. Once I got them together, though, I ended up liking the wine colored one and a gray-blue one that I gave to her to show her soon-to-be-husband. |
