I went to campus to drop off some paperwork. It was one of those rare, perfect minnesota summer days—not humid, not too hot, and not raining.

On my bus ride back from campus, I got a call from my doctor’s lab. They lost my blood that they were going to send out for the celiac test. I have to go in tomorrow and get skewered again.
