I read some article about how a lot of green dish soaps have a little bit of a known carcinogen in them. The article said something about using Dr. Bronner’s castille soap instead. We already use it in the shower, so we thought we’d buy a bottle and give it a try for dishes since it’s a multipurpose sort of thing.

I was almost immediately turned off because it leaves a film on everything. But, we kept using it. That is, until I tried to make kitcharee tonight, and the pot of boiling beans and rice ended up all bubbly and soapy. Apparently the film was more than a film.

D & I made haste to the coop and opted for grocery store sushi instead. This little guy holds soy sauce, or in our case, Braggs. It comes out through his little ‘o’ shaped beak. It was too cute for me not to buy. Again, I’m a sucker.
