I watched Helvetica again tonight (I own it), and afterwards noticed that Meggs’ seminal A History of Graphic Design is quite Helvetica-heavy. It’s interesting to see the slew of new graphic design histories coming out right now. I’m looking forward to picking some up and reading them after I’m done with school—in particular Johanna Drucker’s.
