D and I went to Annapurna, a local all vegetarian, Ayurvedic, chai house restaurant for dinner tonight. We both wanted kicharee, but they were all out of it. We shared a combination plate, and split this piece of vegan carrot cake in honor of my forthcoming birthday. It was okay as far as cake goes, but was clearly frozen and thawed. It really can’t hold a candle to Muddy Paws’ vegan cheesecake. I also had a soy chai.
