The funny thing about Santa Fe is that after it snows, few people shovel their walks, and the city doesn’t plow the streets. The best you get is some red dirt thrown down overnight, even in the worst of snow or ice storms. I guess this is because generally within a day—or a few, tops—it’ll be above freezing and everything melts. Well, mostly melts anyway.

Today was sunny and bright, but I was working on categorizing my thesis notes, so today’s photo is again a macro shot from the courtyard.

More interesting photos are coming, I promise. I just keep forgetting to take pictures when I cook, or when we go out to eat. Snaps.
