We went to The Wildlife Center outside Española, NM. They rehab injured and abandoned animals and release them back into the wild if that’s possible.

Among the owls, raptors, bobcats, fox and every other animal imaginable, there were three robins who were unable to be released because their injuries were too severe. This is one of them.

I also fell in love with the pygmy owl, but I couldn’t get a decent picture of him.
