The weather here in Santa Fe is so beautiful. It’s sunny nearly every single day, and after last week’s cold snap, the temperature is 40+ degrees during the day. It’s going to be hard to return to Minnesota and a January-encrusted city.

It occured to me today, that I should perhaps give a little background on my current life, for anyone who may not know me. First, I am in my last year in grad school. I am pursuing an MFA in Interactive Design. You can read about and participate in my thesis project here: food, stories, design

Other than that, back in September, my boyfriend (D) was offered a job in Santa Fe, NM—his hometown. We had planned on moving here after I was done with school in May. The job offer was unexpected, and hard to turn down given they also offered moving expenses. So by mid-September, he moved here and I remained in MN.

I am spending winter “break” here in Santa Fe, returning to Minnesota to wrap up my Master’s degree later in the month.
