My work has a softball team. In the two and a half or so years that I’ve been there, they’ve won only one game. This year, we put in a soccer team as well. The directive from above was, “please be better than the softball team!”. And so we are. In three games, we’ve already tied the record of the softball team for wins. We’re 1-0-2. (assuming that I’m getting the order right, that should mean 1 win, 0 losses, 2 ties) Not bad for the start of the season and our ragtag bunch of unicorns.
